Hi, I’m Jay +
I’m a creative designer and developer located in Nashville, Tennessee. Born in Miami and raised all over (Marine brat), one thing that stayed true for me is my love for creativity, and that led me to pursue a BFA in design from Mississippi State. It’s there, after taking my first development class, that I found a passion for that nuanced intersectionality between design and tech. After graduating, I honed my skills as a developer and designer working as fullstack developer in the dynamic landscape of bank marketing before taking on the role of senior web designer at a franchise marketing agency. I’m now currently a senior designer at Scorpion — a tech, design, and marketing corporation that works with multiple businesses, firms, healthcare services, and franchises. Parallel to these endeavors has also been my freelance where I delve into innovative and collaborative projects, working side by side with some of the best people I’ve gotten to know.
Outside of design and development, you can normally find me making music, binging tv shows, or working on my book series, Auroa. Overall, I’m just a big fan of good storytelling and creativity and will pursue that no matter the project. All that said, I hope we get to work together!
